Regarding the conference app, there are kind of three version right now:
- ionic-stencil-conference-app is the version with @ionic/core 4 beta and stencil (without angular)
- ionic-conference-app master branch is with ionic-angular 3.9.2
- ionic-conference-app core-update branch is with @ionic/angular 4 beta
