I didn’t tried, just a question, are you sure the shadow comes from the searchbar?
Just had a look to the source of the component https://github.com/ionic-team/ionic/tree/ba4e117e558736c9c0ab50e8dc4207dcca470a14/core/src/components/searchbar and I didn’t found any box-shadow
