Ionic 2 Navbar dissapearing on nav.setRoot

But then whenever the setRoot method is called to get back to the root page, the navbar dissapears.

Everything continues to work if I go to dashboard again, the application still works perfectly.

But, this can get really annoying for the user.

So my question is:

What is the issue?

And

Is there some kind of nav.showNavbar method? I've read there was one along the lines of $ionicNavbar.show() in Ionic 1.

Maybe i would be able to call it in the onPageWillEnter() lifecycle hook?
