Hi Everyone,
Is there anyone who can help me. My ion-list is dynamically creating if I select one button the other ion-list button gets selected. Please tell me how to make everyone button works separately.

Ionic 4/5 + VueJS - Form Validation;

Does anyone know of an elegant solution for Ionic 4/5 + VueJS form validation?

I have tried VeeValidate which does not work out of the box without some annoying workarounds. I’ve also tried Vuelidate which I cannot get to work at all. The issue in both being that they don’t work with ion-input.

Let me know if anyone has found a way to get either of the above 2 libraries to work or if you have an alternative solution!

At this pace, I’m likely going to end up not using ion-input components and styling my own HTML inputs for mobile as I prefer that solution to writing my own validation (very big application with a ton of pages/forms).

How to delete it fast?

Ionic 4 & Angular 8

I have a working app using Ionic 4 and Angular 7. In order to prepare for upgrading to Ionic 5 I first wanted to upgrade to Angular 8 and followed the instructions in https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QOpQeDifPSg6F9WycDLcbQnpqjN96ew-Ap0_CB7CcCQ/edit to the point. All seemed to work but when I try to run the application in the browser I get:

After that I managed to get a starter project using Ionic 4 and Angular 8 working but when I copied the exact versions to my package.json, I still get the same stack trace. I am really at a loss here and would appreciate any help from you guys. Thanks!

It’s likely taking so long due to the node_modules folder.

You can open PowerShell and navigate to your folder; then run rm node_modules -force -recurse . Once that’s complete you can delete/move your folder with ease.

Or, you can go up one level and run that on your project folder: rm YOUR_PROJECT_FOLDER_NAME_HERE -force -recurse.

If you have rimraf (npm install rimraf -g), you can use that to remove the folder as well.

In the case of core, there are some suggestions in here. Haven’t found anything similar for angular, though.

That would scare me greatly. I’ve never used Windows, but what you describe sounds dangerously to me like a hard disk about to fail on you.

Using GraphQL inside Capacitor app

I have a react app that works fine as a web app. It uses Apollo GraphQL. When I convert it into a capacitor app. My queries do not work, but they just come back undefined in iOS. On my server the graphql call is never being handled so its not reaching the server.

Doing the Ionic 5 tutorial (I think?) …

…and generated pages, e.g. tab2.html, have a section…

<app-explore-container name="Tab 2 page"></app-explore-container>

Does anyone know if this has any special use? It’s not mentioned in the tutorial.

Hi guys! I’m trying to integrate a Ionic Cordova Custom Plugin and I’m stuck as to how to get started with v4. Currently, I’'m migrating an old plugin from a previous developer and right now, I wan’t to use it in v4 but it doesn’t seem to work. I was reading the Ionic Native but then I can’t seem to make it work and I’m really stuck.

Any documentation or tutorial that would help me will be much appreciated!

Invalid SSL certificate with cordova-plugin-crosswalk-webview

Hello I’m new here. I’ve a ssl certification error while lunching my app(capacitor).
I tried everything I found here( Android’s Network Security ) but till now it didn’t work.
here is the error:
I/X509Util: Failed to validate the certificate chain, error: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Trust anchor for certification path not found.
E/chromium: [ERROR:ssl_client_socket_impl.cc(941)] handshake failed; returned -1, SSL error code 1, net_error -202.
I got the error after public key generated. need help please.
